Appointment of new Systems Engineer

October 2017: Transicon Ltd, the Telford control systems integrator has further strengthened the engineering team with the appointment of Rob Chew as Control Systems Engineer.

With a track record of more than 9 years’ experience with AC and DC Drive Systems and Motion Control Systems, PLC and HMI equipment, Rob takes up this new position with responsibilities for delivering the company’s integrated control and automation solutions.

“Rob’s appointment reflects the Company’s continuing success in expanding our customer base during recent years and the need to continue to build our engineering team and capability for the future, says Transicon’s Sales & Marketing Director, Richard Cotsford.

“His Steel industry knowledge and experience will be invaluable in further developing new customers as we see a resurgence of activity in steel in the UK, and reinforce Transicon’s position as a leading supplier of industrial drives, automation and control systems.”

About Rob Chew
Born in Taunton, Somerset and educated at the University of South Wales and Loughborough University, Rob completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering, followed by a Master of Science (MSc) in Renewable Energy Systems Technology at Loughborough University.
